I have bought half drilled beads for the first time, and some ear post and gs hypo cement. Well I have tried to use that to stick my freshwater pearls to the ear posts but it won't stick. The ear posts are sterling silver, not sure if that makes any difference! Any advice on what to do or if I need to buy something different would be very welcome.

    Thanks for reading

You need to rough up the post with some sandpaper or an emery board before applying the glue. Then leave the glue to set for at least 24 hours.

Thank you so much. I think all my brains and logic have gone out of the window today.

Devcon 5 minute epoxy is really good glue, it is very strong, sets clear and ideal for glueing half drilled beads onto earring posts etc. This dries super quickly - hence the name, so you don't have to wait overnight for it to dry.
