  • How to embed flowers in resin

Hi, I have been having a go at embedding objects in resin to make pendants etc. I am not having any luck with flowers, the nice pink flower I used came looking like a piece of crumpled up yellow transparent tissue! I think I may have read about spraying them with something first, perhaps to seal them but I cant find out what it was. Any ideas please?

Good luck, Ive tried the same thing.

I used pressed flowers and the colour of the flower faded over time.

Id love to make pendants but cant find proper molds with holes in them to thread a chain or wire through.Or molds that are the right size.Ive tried putting petals into a mold but only half went in.In a bigger mold it would look odd, then theres the hole making issue even if i get the right size mold.

Let me know if you have any success.

Thanks for that, I have had a look at those companies websites which are interesting. I am still sure I saw something in a spray somewhere for fresh flowers tho!
