can anyone recommend a bendable wire suitable for making clock hands?

i'm after something that is easy to bend into shape, but will also hold it's shape, and also available in a selection of colours. anyone any ideas, was hoping some of the jewellery makers might be able to suggest something.

Any of the art wires should do the trick go for the thicker stuff and it will hold it's shape. 1.0mm and up should be thick enough, I think that is prob 18g. You could try recycling old copper wireing but it will tarnish.

You could use one of those wire jig things to get some interesting shapes.
