Era styles

Im trying to create certain feels to certain eras, like edwardian times was swirly art nouveau (I think), Victorian reminds me of foggy, black,sepia photos,blood red etc
But Im trying to represent different eras in a craft type way.

Do any of you know a site that show types of furniture, clothes, architecture,font, of certain eras?

When I was an interior designer ( before the jewellery and beads took over!) I used the past times web site as a good basis. Although everything is a modern reflection of the various styles, it gives you a really good feel of what to associate with the different eras.

Also try your local library - they will often have lots of costume books that you could look at - you can also keep them for a while and use the ideas for the basis of your own designs
