public liability insurance

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone knows the best place to get public liability insurance from for my bath bombs,lip balms etc?

How much is it likely to cost? And is this the only type of insurance i need??

Hi Lindsay, you will probably be inundated with people suggesting Ian Wallace. I have mine through him, he is a really lovely guy and I think it cost me about £70 for the year for standard Public and Product liability insurance and he was the cheapest around. If you are unsure as to what you need, contact Ian I'm sure he will be able to help you, he was a godsend to me. Also there are lots of people here making similar things to you who will have a far better idea than me about what you need for your craft, I'm sure they will be along to help you soon.

I use Uan Wallace too. It's specially for crafts people. But someone started a thread the other day on here, and they'd got quite cheap insurance. I'll try and find the link.

liability insurance

i've used constructaquote.com before and got a really cheap deal on my liability from what i remember. i've dealt with them online and over the phone so it's pretty easy.

I use CMTIA (combined Market Traders Insurance Association) the policy is with Zurich, there is a PDF download form, they are quick and easy - £47 for £5 million.
