  • Can someone please help...?

    I'm unsure if anyone would could answer my question......but I am just about to start selling bath and beauty products and wondering if my premises have to be assessed by any formal regulations prior to sale??

    This was on another thread and may help, not too sure about your home being checked but you need certification for what you make.

      I had my safety assesment on my bath bombs done recently and nothing was mentioned about the premisis, have you had your product safety assesment done ?

        no your premises do not have to be assessed. When you register with BIS (BERR) they will ask for your manufacturing premise address, but i think this is only for correspondance & for any liason with trading standards. You are allowed to make your products anywhere, the overiding issue is that it is CLEAN. No doubt you will have emphasised this in your manufacturing statement anyway.
