  • Bath bombs - storage

    Me again!
Just wondering how you all store your ingredients, particularly bicarb & citric as I have them loose in bags at the moment. Should I invest insome air tight storage jars for them? I'm going to store bottles of oils and colurs in a box to protect them from the light, is there anything else I need to think about?
Also, once made I plan to wrap each bomb in tissue paper and store in a plastic box with a lid, does this sound like the best way to store them? Will they be OK if I start to make Xmas pressies in the next couple of weeks??
Sorry for all the questions, hopefully I'll actually start making them soon
    Thanks again
    Fran

    Hi

Never store in damp conditions. I made 300 bath bombs once, stored them in a ery damp room, next day - gone into a mush!!!

I use tubs for every ingredient from soap to bath bombs. - you can get them from dormex cntaines ltd at very low cost. No min order if you ask nicely!

Thank you, looks like I need to go shopping before opening my ingredients for the first time!
