  • Tea Tree Balm

    Hello

Do any of you clever potions and lotions ladies ( and gents !) make anything like a tea tree balm/cream ?, preferably a solid balm rather than a liquid
I'd be uber grateful if you'd let me know
    many thanks

    Hiya,

What did you want to use it for? I can certainly add Tea Tree Essential Oil to a variety of creams, butters or lip balms but it'd be best to know what use it's going to be put to...

my 16 son is prone to bouts of eczema, we've found tea tree oil mixed with coconut oil ( i swear by coconut oil for so many things) is the only thing that helps ,trouble is the coconut oil is too greasy for college.
We really to try another base cream with the tea tree oil to see if it works and also somthing that "sinks" in better than the coconut oil
      hope i've explained that ok,lol

I was going to say "ooooh eczema..." at the start of my post but it ust looked awful - I'm a fellow sufferer so it's kind of nice to be able to swap 'itchy flaky skin stories' lol

I make a whipped shea butter which has Shea Butter, Jojoba Oil, Coconut Oil, Coconut Butter, Vitamin E and Glycerine in it -It's absolutely gorgeous and when I started making it I would often have it on my hands. I used to rub it onto a patch of eczema I had on my shin that nothing (and I do mean NOTHING) had managed to get rid of....I'd tried Hydrocortisones of various descriptions, Savlon, oils, butters and everything else in between.

My Shea Butter got rid of it...permenantly within a week...I'd had the nasty shin rash for 4 years...

If you'd like a little sample pot of it (with or without Tea Tree) drop me a private message with your address and I will send you some free of charge...if it works you can buy some more...if not then no harm done..

Sheabutter on its own is excellent for such skin problems. The addition of coconut oil also helps.
