If your making them yourself you need a safety certificate and that can cost anywhere between £150.00 and £600.00 depending on who you go to.

if you are just selling someone else's soap then no you don't need a certificate but do make sure the person you are buying from is certified

Hi, have a look through all the old posts re certification. (There are quite a few!!) This one may be useful

Would also be a good idea to get product insurance as well as public liability!

I thought if you wanted to sell soaps or cosmetics you had to have a license (could be a health license? Not sure...)

    Prices?

I know there has been a lot of posts about this recently, but I can't seem to find the answer....
I was wondering about how much a license would cost me? As I don't want to but all the stuff to make soaps and things, then it would cost me an absolute fortune to sell it, if you see where I'm coming from, can anyone help me here?
Working...
