  • How to you glue in bead tips please?

Hi all, I have purchased some bead tips and tried glueing in the 3mm rubber cord with super glue and left it for 24 hours but the cord just fell out! Could there be a rection with the rubber? Should I use some other type of glue please? Ta

There a a few posts to help with this

Swirly posted a link for a website which helps you pick your glue depending on the materials www.thistothat.com

gs hypo cement is great for jewellery making and sticks most things I use.

Still problems with glue and bead tips. please help!

Me again, have tried e6000, loctite super glue, beadfix hypo cement and araldite and still no luck! Its costing me a fortune. There is a tiny gap between the rubber cord and the cord tip so that may be the problem. Any advise much appreciated Thanks!

Are the cord tips you are using the one that look like a spring with loop on the end? If so i squeeze the last coil on to the cord and find this holds well.
