  • Which On-line Store?

    Hi everyone

Im looking for a great all round on-line store, one where i can get my tools, beads, findings and wires etc all from the same place, instead of buying here there and everywhere which is what i am doing at the moment, also i need to find a better set of round nose pliers.

    Any ideas

    Thanks guys

In a word - don't. It really is worth shopping around, I get tools & toho seed beads from http://www.beadsdirect.co.uk/
Normal seed beads and fire polished from http://jillybeads.co.uk/acatalog/
    Swarovskis from http://www.mailorder-beads.co.uk/
Gutermans from Hobbycraft (!).....................the list goes on.
You'll find that each supplier spe******es in one product, and carries the rest as an afterthought!
Of course, if you want to be patriotic, there's always http://www.beadsbydesign.co.uk/

      Hello,
I get most of my stuff from www.jillybeads.co.uk to be honest not sure if they are the cheapest but i find the website really easy and the photos of the products are good, which is usually the downfall of most bead websites.
Delivery is usually very quick, i've only ever had one wrong item sent to me and they sorted it very quickly with a freebie as well!!
They sell tools as well but i got mine from my local surplus store!!
There are members on the forum that sell materials as well, have a look in the directory or some are on the right of your screen in the adverts.
      Good luck!!

        I sometimes use

        www.pandahall.co.uk

But be prepared to spend ages trawling round their website!

I agree, it always pays to shop around - I also get quite a lot of stuff on ebay - some really good bargains to be had!

Although it can be time consuming it is worth hunting around the sites for cheaper prices and different things .

I buy a lot from ebay - Leicesterlady's Light Box, Beads by Yvonne [also a standard website] and Silver Connection [ditto]. Spellbound Beads are superb, absolutely love them. And Totally Beads too. And there's a new lady I've just found, Pretty Creative Hawthorn Lane, she has really unusual things.

Like almost everyone says, it really is best to shop around.

                  I use http://www.beadsbylili.com/

It's run by Mel and she's lovely. It's a really good source for plain glass "filler" beads as well as pendants etc.

This is the trouble when people put up new links, we end up spending more money

Oooh - just thought of another *FAB* site.

                            http://www.beadsneeds.co.uk/

She does some really different beads and at really low prices. Have a look - you don't HAVE to spend money - you could just look and have a browse (yeah, right!)

Advertising sites that import Chinese beads is a sure way to wake Peter up. I think CC has enough to be going on with - let's not turn this into a thread for advertising bead suppliers for free!
