  • Where to Find Flatbacked Rhinestones & Beads

Hi everyone. Does anyone know of a reliable online shop that sells flatbacked rhinestones and beads/pearls? (preferably from the same shop to save on postage fee). I am looking at, from 2mm to 10mm.

Another question, what is the word for this red 'raspberry' thing? it looks like it had been formed using small beads but I am sure I can buy them as a whole or completed. (sorry, I can't seem to post a link or an image as it says I must post 25 posts and above before I can do that).

Any help will be much appreciated. Thank you so much.

    Hi Yvonne27

Can't help with the rhinestones but can you not paste the link to the picture in your message? I think I may have done that before i had 25 posts.

I've had a look and it looks like a normal raspberry to me? Can you PM me the link to the original picture and i'll paste it in a message. If no-one can help you, maybe you can try contacting the originator of the photo and asking them.

hi Misty. I just sent you a PM and I could attach the picture there. I bought the craft book f rom a Japanese bookseller, who only sells Japanese goods. I didn't ask her but maybe it is worth a try to check with her.

BTW, I found a lot of rhinestone sellers on the UK ebay but I just wish just 1 seller have everything I want. Now I have to buy from like 3 sellers to get what I need.

            Hi Yvonne]

I bought mine off ebay, there are lots of suppliers on there. Also depends if you want stick on or glue gun. Be careful you don't order wrong ones!

I am very very new to rhinestones. I intend to use handicraft glue to glue them onto my felt. Will hotfix green back be ok with glue?

I found 3 UK sellers who selling loads of them but only 1 has most of the sizes and colours I want.

yes, you can glue the hotfix green back ones, use a good fabric glue tho' like 'hi-tack' by impex.

here is a link to the lady i use and i use a lot ...lol

                http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/144-ss20-SIAM-...item19b38811ec

she has a good selection and an online shop, if you ask her she's bound to have what you want.

she doesn't do pearl beads tho' i tend to find people who sell rhinestones don't do beads they tend to concentrate on the rhinestone side if the have a large selection.

                hope that helps jaci xxx

                  Hi Yvonne

I've only just checked in after a few days.

Does anyone have any information about the Raspberry in this picture:

YES YES YES ... lol I can help you, hang on while I get the link ...lol These are pretty obscure beads to come accross, so glad I can help.

These are gorgeous beads, she's a lovely lady, her name is Cass, tell her Jaci fromCameoPassion sent you her way, she also has a shop called Cassablancas, where she has a couple off bracelets on that you can see how she incorporated them.

Thank you so much for the help everyone!! I am so happy as I am slowly getting all the materials I need to make my new hobby.

Jaci-Ann - I bought quite a bit from Lizzie this morning . She has very reasonable shipping fee to Denmark. She even listed something on her site when I asked for it!! So sweet of her.

Misty - thank you so much. I went like when I saw the raspberries and in different colours!! I have to ask her whether she ships to Denmark though as her listing only says US.

                        Merry Christmas to all!!
