  • What size holes?

I have been asked to have go at making some wooden beads to be used with pearls. Size is anything up to 20mm. What sort of size hole is used in different size beads? I haven't touched beads since the 60's so haven't a clue

Pearls tend to have fairly small holes, I would have thought about 0.6mm / 0.7mm (ish) would be about right... That would give you a good range of threading options.
