New to beading help with keyring appreciated

Hi, I've just become hooked on beading, and whilst visitng a bead shop came accross some keyring findings that I thought would look great for christmas preasents.

The problem I have is which thread to use for the beads, and the best way to attach them to the ring. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Ok, I've not got a straight answer for you because when I did a keyring for a bead magazine earlier this year, I used tigertail, cotton cord, headpins/eyepins, jump rings and chain!!!

One thread was seed beads on tigertail held by crimps, another was large beads knotted on cord, another was beads on eyepins, another was chain-bead on eyepin-chain-bead on eyepin-chain, another was pewter charms attached on jump rings...

Hopefully that'll give you a few ideas.

Might depend on the beads you want to use.
