  • Unusual Glass beads

    Hi,

Does anyone know where i can buy unusual glass beads?

I can't afford to pay a fortune as i'd never make my money back but love the look of them!

If they all turn out to be pricey perhaps i'll just treat myself.......

It depends on what you want, really. Beadmakers do offer beads in a variety of prices, and there are also some great commercially-made beads too, I use Czech glass a lot to accent the lampwork I use.

If you do a Google on lampwork and limit it to the UK you'll find a good number of people out there. Make sure if you're wanting one of a kind beads that the person selling them guarantees them to be their own handmade work. Sadly, people have been known to buy in beads and then pass them off as 'artisan' or 'artist-made' when they've been mass-produced.

Good luck finding the beads you want!
