I'm looking for some colourfull glass beads that can be thread on to wool.
Can anyone point me in the right direction please.

Alternatively, depending on what size of beads you had in mind, you could look at Seed beads. For example Size 6/0 seed beads have approx 2mm holes but are only 4mm big. So it depends on the thickness of your wool and the look you're trying to achieve.

If you do a search for glass pony (or crow) beads on ebay you will find quite a few different colours.
