Personally I usually buy the bicones as it's much cheaper than the round ones. But I must say that the round ones are usually much shinier (as it's cut with more angles surfaces - just like diamond when they are cut more the shinier it is)
Personally I love the bicone shape. I find it really aesthetically pleasing!
but if some one wishes to shower me with swarovski's, then anything goes!!!!!
I think it depends on what you intend to make with them. I like bicones because I love the shape, but rounds do look really nice as well. Actually, I made a really nice necklace combining the two types and that looked really reflective and sparkly- really effective. I think it all comes down to personal choice at the end of the day, with beads I don't think you can ever have too much choice because invariably, there's always something that they can be used for, and which bicones and rounds, they look really good whn combined withreally plain beads or a bit of sparkle. /
I like different shape of beads, because it could be maked different kinds of perfect necklaces and bracelets

I really like the bicones and the way they pick up the light, I've just recently got a selection of AB and though I'm not too sure about them they do glint well.
I've started using 6mm too instead of the 4mm on the watches I make it they look great too, I was asked too and always thought they were a bit big.
Oh...........I was going to make a comment, but I can't be bovvered!

Well, thank you very much for your magnanimity..............my comment is this - you are welcome on the forum, but don't for one minute expect us to treat you as a 'crafter', I have seen your website. If I am wrong, I apologise, but we have seen far too many large companies treating this forum as an advertising platform to be taken in by one who intimates he is a 'beader'. If you would like any further comments, please don't ask - I can't be bothered.
