I've used both, but it would take too long to explain here. Have a look at www.wigjig.com they have lots of patterns and instructions for both.

I've seen them & wondered what to do too, so will have a look at the website"Human beings, who are almost remarkable in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so" - Douglas Adams

I have both and I love them to pieces.
I find it somewhat theraputic sat making coils, I tend to get annoyed with myself when using the jig and pegs, but I have made a few items.
There are some of my coil items, and most of my jig items on Auntynet's and Urbtaf's stall. I also made some asymetric bracelets with thicker coils, they were interesting to make (1 is in Bury, the other 4 on my site)
I have also used the coiling gizmo to make jump rings. Oooh and I have the other one that was out, with the purple mandrels, that's interesting as it makes oval, triangle and square coils.

Being an ex engineer I have made my own, without which some things would be virtually impossible to make and to try to make a pair for earings or linking, forget it. That's a wonderful gift hope you enjoy it, great potential to get addicted to wire work

I love my pegboard, but I want a better quality one! Is a wigjig worth the extra money?
