    No hard and fast rule here, because you can get small bead caps which just butt up against the hole, or rounded bead caps, and even ones with adjustable petals.

    If you're wanting a bead cap to curve around a round bead, then pick one which is about 2mm smaller than your bead diameter e.g 8mm bead cap for 10mm bead

    Hello everybody,

    I've just started making my own bead jewellry and I have a question.

    I want to use bead caps and have noticed that they are sized, but can't find any info about what size caps I should be using with what size beads.

    I did a search and couldn't find any previous posts about this.
