  • bead loom

I bought a bead loom on Sunday! dont know why, just saw it and wanted one.
Havent got the time to learn how to use it, what with 200 pairs of earrings a week, plus the 50 rings ive made today.
And ive a mountain of wire wrapping to do.
But Ive had a play with it today, just 5 beads wide by 30 long, they are great fun and very satisfying to work with
Anybody know of any place for good tips, Ive the feeling come Jan when Ive got more time I may get into it big time

Wow you are busy busy busy aren't you?!

I've had a go once or twice but I can't offer any advice. I'm sure bead looms cropped up in a thread the other day though, maybe somebody is about that will remember?

Twas me I posted about them recently as I'd been having trouble finishing off the braclets and struggled with the right sort of finding to use. I've just made a bracelet and used a ribbon clamp on the end which worked quite well, but I'm still refining the process

You can make lovely patterns with the loom, the most annoying thing about them is setting it up, took me ages and most fiddly (or is it just me) but when they're strung I really enjoy beading on them, find it really relaxing
