Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me.

I am making my mum a necklace using leather. On most of the beads the hole is larger on one side than on the other so my leather wont go all the way through.

Can someone let me know how I can make it bigger please.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

You can get a reamer i think its called to enlarge the holes in the beads. I have not used one myself as haven't needed to but i have come across it whilst looking for beads. i have seen a bead reamer set on jillybeads which should do the job and can be used for other things too. Just put reamer in the search thingy at the top and it will come up. There are probably other places that just do the reamer and is not part of a set so would be cheaper but you would have to look around for that.

    Hope this helps.

I've used one point of a pair of scissors or long-nose pliers in exactly the same way, Stick it in the hole, and twist it in till it evens the hole out. Works fine for me...
