  • Hello from Norfolk

    Hi everyone,

I'm Freya and I'm from a tiny village in between Norwich and Great Yarmouth.

I found this site whilst searching for craft groups in my local area.

I am a craft junky and want to learn ALLLLL crafts, I just love all the supplies, craft shops are like sweet shops and sometimes the supplies look so good I literally want to eat them (angelina fibres anybody? must admit to giving that a try)

So I've come here looking for more info, more techniques, more materials, more inspiration! and more crafting buddies

My main areas of interest are textiles and wearable art, I've recently found a love of those gorgeous designs on quilting fabrics, so if you're ever in a Norwich craft shop I'm the one munching on the fat quarters.

Thanks for having me and I'm looking forward to getting to know you all.

    xxx

yep, this place is addictive, so what with all the tme you like spending in craft shop and the time on here to decide what to try next, you probably won't have time to actually do anything!

          Hi Freya

We're almost neighbours then - I live in Norwich.

I know what you mean about craft shops - I love Sew Simple at Taverham Garden Centre. Have you been there?
