  • Hello All

Hello All, I am new to this so having a practice by writing this! I do have a question though, if I were to make some jewellery from a design and instructions from a bead magazine, can I then sell that piece of jewellery at a craft fair or is that breaking any regulations? Thanks

The simple answer is yes, it is. A friend of mine tried to simplify this issue on another forum, it's worth a look.

I'm not a jeweller, but as with anything , there is always the issue of copyright. indeed there have been several threads on this general topic, and unless the magazine says, "please go ahead ,make this and sell it as your own", (or similar), then yes there could be problems.

of course,it is quite possible for 2 people , totally independenly to come up with the exact same idea at the same time, as has been seen historically, with 1 person beating the other by very short periods of time to register the patent on their invention.
