  • Forum things like rep power...?

    Can someone explain the little things on this forum to me...

    I know that I cannot post live links yet, how many posts do I need to be able to do this?

    and what is rep power?

    and what do the 2 little green squares on the right hand sign (under rep power) mean?

    And the junior member/junior crafter bits - do these change? how? to what?

    TIA
    K xx

    rep power is where members acknowledge good information.

    and what do the 2 little green squares on the right hand sign (under rep power) mean?
    They are an indication of the number of rep points a member has.

    And the junior member/junior crafter bits - do these change? how? to what?
    they are a record of how many posts a member has made and say things like senior crafter etc.
    full time mum and very very part time crafter.

      And because I talk a lot I have a lot of posts and quite a few little green squares!

      Also your name changes colour too:
      Red = banned (spamming or being nasty etc)
      Blue = normal member
      Pink = Over 1,000 posts
      Green = Moderator
      Purple = Mr M as he is the boss and purple is regal!!

      Hope this helps too!

      also!!

            To get rep points it does go up in little increments the more you post but if you want to go up faster, give good advice or be really helpful!! And then we can comment on your post by hitting the scales icon on your post!

                Well I will try to be as helpful as possible!

                When I started out there was no-where like this (that I found!) and I really was flying blind for a while!!

                I have no objection to sharing tips that I have found to be successful. But I detest copying/ripping off. I'm also quite frank when it comes to my opinions, and will always give an honest reponse. In fact sometimes I simply don't respond cos I can't find a nice way of saying what I think....
