  • Any ideas?

    Hi - I'm Max & I'm new!!!

I was just browing the web looking for card ideas when I found this site - it looks great.

I need to make a card for a couple who are adopting a child (about 6 yr old boy). Does anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks
    :P

      Hi Max, welcome aboard

Ooh, that's a really tricky one you've got there. I had a quick look on Google and didn't really come up with much...sorry...but I'll keep my thinking hat on.

Why not post the question on the 'Can You Help' section as I'm sure some members will have suggestions for you and it's probably more likely to be read there.

And don't forget to let us know what you eventually decide on, I'd love to know.

      Take care

              Bitty Body die cuts

              Hi
You could try dressing a bitty body or an award die cut for congratulations on becoming parents.

                adoption card

                Hi Max,
How about a clothes line with a football kit pegged to it, and below the clothes line a football with a small label, printed with the words
"congratulations on the arrival of your new Son"

                Good luck with your cards
                Regards

                  Hi Max!

The football strip idea sounds good... I don't know if this is a couple you know personally, but I thought if it was then you could always make a welcome card for the little boy, to help him feel he already has friendly people around.

You're right Indri, at 6 he will need, and no doubt get, as much welcomming love as possible so a card for him is a lovely idea.

Not looking properly - I've been multitasking between here and COSHH forms (which have been boring me so I have to flick to here). Mental note to self - check next time!
