  • Hi everyone. I'm a newbie!

    Hello all you crafty people!

I've only just discovered this site and can't believe it's taken me this long! I don't really have any friends who are into crafting so I am hoping to meet some like minded people on here!

I have been making things for as long as I can remember but I am finding that as I get older my creativity seems to be flowing more freely.
My youngest daughter is now at playgroup 5 mornings a week and its amazing how much more awake the creative part of my brain is as a result of a bit of "me time"!

I've been selling my crafts on ebay and to friends and family for a few years now and have recently started listing on etsy too, although I haven't had a sale yet. I was also thinking of selling with Tuggle (I have been accepted) but I would like to know if anyone sells much on there before I part with my cash!
I would love to hear of anyone's opinions and/ or experiences with any of these online selling methods.

    Bye for now,
    Nat

        Hi, thanks for the replies!

I will have a look around. I'm new to this forum lark so I'm probably going to be posting things in the wrong places etc whilst I feel my feet!

I make all sorts of things really. I started out making cards (appliqued and embroidered) and progressed to appliqued pictures, t-shirts & clothing. I did a lot of the "Shabby Chic" bunting when it was really popular and I make drawstring bags for children with baking stuff etc in.
I also hand-dye silk which I then use to make dressing up capes for children which I mainly sell through my ebay shop. I'd like to post links to my sites but it seems I have to post 25 times before I can do this. I suppose this stops people from joining simply to advertise, which I guess is a good thing!

I'll go and see if I can find anything about Tuggle on here.

Thanks for your help Debbie and ilovecrafts!
