  • Hi from Washington DC

    Hi, I'm Kathy.

I have been browsing this message board for quite a few months and just signed up. It's really nice to see so many like minded people from the UK.

I have been collecting dolls since I was a teen and my spare room is full of dolls from a huge Sad Sam to a small collection of kokeshi I got from a trip to Japan in 2003.

By the way, do you guys use the Etsy site for buying and selling? I find it so much more friendly than ebay.

        Hey, thanks!

Do you girls have lots of craft suppliers in England? I use a local hobby shop in DC but more often get my supplies from the QVC shopping channel. You have that in the UK?

          Hello! welcome to the forum.

yes there are lots. Big chain stores such as hobby craft & small independent ones. Which from what I hear are god for some bargains. We have QVC too, I have never bought anything from there tho.

                              Sorry Si.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone (in contrast to the freezing temperatures outside here). See it's much milder in UK.
