  • Hello :)

    Hello Everyone!
I'm new here and found the site in my latest issue of Craftseller!
I have recently started my own little business, Cottage Garden Crafts and Flowers, I began this as i fell in love with sewing and my partner said it was getting a little crazy as i kept on making and didnt sell anything. It wasn't really until i picked up my first copy of craftseller that i really got into it!
I make alsorts regarding home decor, from small hanging hearts to rag rug hearts to cushions. I also make new baby gifts in the way of bunting and teddy bears and also heart garlands. I'm also a fully qualified florist, hence the name of the business and currently im working alot with artifcials, making table centres, wedding pieces and church yard arrangements!
Thats just a little bit about me, I'm really looking forward to getting to know you all!

                Welcome to the forum!

It's great news you found the site via Craftseller, one of my favourite magazines (and one I do a bit of work for too!).

Good luck with the selling, it is quite a learning curve but very well worthwhile. Sounds like you have a lot of stings to your bow - best of luck with it all!

Wow thanks everyone, i'm hoping to pick up a few tips from you all as I'm quite nervous about starting to sell at craft fairs! I've had a little read of some bits all ready and it all seems like such good advice! Glad I found you all! Thank you so much! Heather xx
