  • Hi to all!

    Hi everyone!

I'm Lucie and I have the crafting bug!!!! I'm into cross-stitching, and making toys and gifts, mostly from felt. I'm currently working on creating small fairy dolls, but getting the clothes sizes right is prooving tricky.

I'm also after advice on selling my own Moshi Monster creations. I've made a couple as gifts for my neice and nephew, and would like to make more to sell but I'm obviously very aware of copyright. Any advice would be much appreciated!!!

I look forward to making lots of like-minded friends

Hello and welcome to the forum. With regards to selling your monsters they would need to be different enough and not called the same to enable you to sell them but if like Disney they may be very strict about selling anything that resembled their creations. You could try writing to them along with photos to see if they agree but be prepared for a no. Noticed that there are already Moschi Monsters as a soft toy for sale so I think you would have a problem in that case selling them as already made would be breach of copyright. This link may give you more info.

          Hi Lucie

to the forum. Have to admit that I had never heard of Moschi Monsters but thanks to Carolines link I had a look - they look fun and I hope you manage to find a way of creating your own (obviously different) monsters! Looking forward to seeing them.
