Welcome, we do have one or two others from the USA on here. Not sure if we do it that much differently though it does get chatty and flippant at times there are a lot of great crafters here with advice and knowledge to share. Hope you like us

You will find this forum very helpful I am a member of a few but find this one the most helpful and friendly without mentioning the others that can be a bit clicky and dont like to share their secrets especially with newbies another one tends to blow smoke up the a**e of the longer standing members and say how great their work is when really its not all that. I expect constructive criticism but i have been slagged off on one of the other sites when maybe saying that something might need a little work before its ready for sale (they asked) or saying that ive seen it done before on a different site for example. I havent been mean about someones work because i wouldnt do that but if you ask you expect to be told (well I would -Im not your five year old son with his first pasta picture )- i think sometimes people ask and expect everyone to ooh and ahh (but on here credit is given when due)i havent noticed this on this site so if youre the type that just wants the praise then those other sites are for you - again I will stress not all British sites are like this one - and another thing once you have said something that someone doesnt like on one of those sites you cant ask for help or show your own wares because the claws come out and they slag off what youve done out of spite. I only browse those sites now and never leave or ask for comments - this one is by far the best

Hi CraftsmanUSA and to the Crafts Forum UK. What is it you do/produce/design/make ? Lots of friendly, chatty, helpful people on here as Pete said. If you create an Album or you can add up to 4 links to your signature, website, blog etc we can have a nosy at what you do. Don't think our forums are that much different to yours, just the usual UK/USA problem of two nations divided by a common language LOL Cosmic Grammie is from Texas can't think of others right now from across the pond.
