  • Hi everyone

    Hi to everyone on here,
I'm a newbie to crafts but have decided to give it a go, it seems both fun and relaxing.
I'm sure i'll be asking lots of stupid questions over the coming weeks as I get to grips with this new hobby so I apologise in advance.
I'm planning on working with wood to start with although not quite sure what i'll be making yet!
I'm looking forward to joining the crafting world!

Hi Jem and to the Crafts Forum. Lots of lovely friendly and helpful people on here to help thats the whole idea. No questions are silly we can't all know the answers to everything and you will be helping others in no time.

Hope to see some of your work soon.

Welcome to the forum, hope you find loads of useful information here!
Stupid questions - ask away we all do at some time or another, and the handy thing is someone will know the answer!

Evening Jem and welcome. There are several woodworkers f one type or another on here and we have all asked really loopy questions so see if you can find one we haven't yet LOL. The only really stupid one is the one you don't ask so fire away.

Wow, clearly you are a very friendly bunch! Thank you for the warm welcomes, I'm just waiting for some wood boxes to arrive this week and i'm going to have a go at making a jewellery/gift box, maybe a bit optimistic for my first attempt but it should be fun trying!
I'll be sure to post photos as soon as I get going!
