  • A shy helllo to you all

    Hi,

I'm a little shy but it's taken a bit of courage to post. I will be ok once I've found my way around.
A little bit about me, I have been making and selling crafts for nearly 30 years.
3 years agp I collapsed and ended up in hospital for a week. The dr's think I had a stroke but aren't sure. I have since been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and was told I would never work again.
Every cloud has a silver lining and I can now devote my time to my crafts, My favourite is papier mache. Though I'm always up for trying different things.
A year ago I started a website, it's coming on slowly but surely. It gives me a reason to get out of bed in the morning.
I will put a link in my sig when I have the required number of posts.
I've not joined just to promote my site though, I've paid for a link in the directory for that. I'm at home all day and I thought it would be nice to find some like minded people.
Sorry for the long post, I 'talk' too much when I'm nervous
I look forward to meeting you all
    All the best

Mia. Yes, as Mo has said, put your web link in your signature as long as it is craft related. If you have a few mins spare cast your eyes over the rules too, that might help with knowing what not to do.
Look forward to chatting and seeing your pics.

Thank you everyone for making me feel welcome and for all your kind words about my website. I am very glad I joined now and look forward to getting to know everyone better. I have a lot going on at the moment, I'm about to register as self employed, I'm trying to organise my craft room and write a business plan. I'm also planning some new papier mache projects and designing a new template for my website.
So I'm off to find the appropriate areas in the forum to ask all the different questions in, I'll help out where I can too.
                            All the best
