  • Newbie from Pudsey

    Hi everyone,
Really excited to have found a craft forum!!
I do copper creations, mostly jewellery so far, and am hoping to branch out into other areas soon, like maybe making copper display stands and findings.
I love mixing glass beads with my copper, and I'm always looking for new ideas.
Looking forward to chatting to any fellow metal enthusiasts.

Welcome Clarise, just one question - where on earth did you get your prices from?! I couldn't make your stuff for those prices! Slightly undercharging I would say.

Thanks everyone from Newbie in Pudsey

It was great to hear from so many of you crafters out there. I have been making jewellery for 2 years now but always as gifts for friends and family and myself of course. I only started the web site last month so i am interested in your coments. I probably have wrongly priced my stuff as I am new to this game and have taken so long to make things that i have no idea how much they cost me. I suppose i should make a note in future.
Just for your info It is my daughter who makes all the lovely cards and boxes. she has been playing with paper since she could hold a pencil. I much prefer to bash metal and play with bright coloured beads. I think there must be aproblem with the web site as a few people have said they could'nt open the bigger pictures. its strange as i can from my PC I will have to sort that out too. And oh yes Pudsey is near Leeds West Yorks. Thanks for all the nice comments and look forward to chating some more.

Just looked at your site and your work is amazing It shows your a true artist. I really love the goth looking cuffs. You may have noticed from my crosses that I favor that style. thanks for the pricing tip. I'm new to this so I need to have a rethink. Have you tried PMC yet? My daughter is an artist and loves it for creating unique shapes.
                        cheers

Thanks Clarise - compliments always welcome! I thought of PMC, and have a basement with all the metalworking kit ready to take the plunge, but I'll see if I can master this seedbeading first!
