  • Hi! New to the forum.

    Hi All

I'm new to the forum and fairly new to jewellery making. I've joined in a blatant attempt to delve into the minds of seasoned beaders and jewellery makers and get as much info, knowledge and advice as I can to help me in my hobby! I'm hoping to produce necklaces, bracelets and beaded curiosities to a professional finish so that I can sell them at our local craft fetes. So far I've made necklaces as presents for friends and family....thus far none have caused allergic reactions nor exploded or fallen apart but I'm not sure this track record will last without proper advice on what materials to use. Oh and I'm one of those that hopes to achieve the professional finish with as little layout from myself as possible! I started my hobby by visiting bead shops and hobby centres but I'm now sourcing from ebay....whether this will be my downfall or not isn't yet clear as I'm waiting for items to appear. Anyhow thanks for letting me join - and pick your brains (thanks in advance!).

Hi, welcome to the forum! Look forward to seeing some of your creations, if you don't mind me asking what type of beads do you use for your jewellery? I've just started a website selling beads, and I'm trying to find out what everyone uses to get some more ideas of what people would like to see in stock
