  • Hello from the New Forest

I came across this forum while looking for craft fairs so decided to join! I make wire sculpted and wrapped jewellery, and try hard to make unique unusual pieces that you won't find everywhere. I use sterling silver and gold filled wire, semiprecious stones, freshwater pearls and swarovski crystals, and sell at local fairs, through the web abd also commissions. I also teach basic wire work for the county libraries...which I very much enjoy! I live in a wonderful part of the country, the New Forest, where the ponies, donkeys, cows and pigs wander through the villages...and we are also just three miles from the sea! I am starting to incorporate more natural elements into my designs, and hope to start using some different techniques soon. I wouls love to do a silversmithing degree but sadly can't afford it at the moment. Incidentally, I also have two other businesses, one using theatre as a form of training, and Tiptoe Treats, which is fudge and old fashioned sweets. I look forward to joining in!
