  • Hiya from a newbie near Manchester

Hi All, My name is Angela, I'm 35 and a single mum of 4 lovely children.
In an atempt to stay off benefits I'm falling back on something my parents used to do, handmade novelty chocolates. I really would like to start attending craft fairs to be able to sell the chocolates before the kids eat everything , how do I go about finding out where and when events are?

Hi Angie, to the forum and from me!!! Good luck with the craft fairs. A good website to try is www.craft-fair.co.uk

Also you could try contacting village hall / community centre / schools to see if they run any craft / fete events.

    Hope this helps!

I wouldn't be able to stand a chance on that one ... if my daughter didn't eat them all then I would! lol.

look forward to chatting with you.

Hello and welcome to the forum.

Chocolate mmmmmmhhhhhhh. Food is always a good seller at craft fairs, just need to watch all the food regulataions for it though. Probably have a check on google and see what it brings up.

          Cheers.

You would have to be careful of food regulations etc - there is another chocolatier on here so maybe she could help. Welcome to the forum btw!

              Good Morning
Schools are your best bet for fairs, then local clubs/organistations/scout/brownie groups/councils etc
Look in the local papers/in newsagents windows
