    Hi all

My name is Joanne, and i've just taken up crafting again after the sudden death of my six year old son last year. I'm hoping it will give me a new focus. Just need to get my creative juices flowing again now!

Looking forward to joining in on the forum!

Joanne. Good to see you here I have just read your other post but can't help with your query. However, just wanted to say that this is one of the best places to be if you want to 'lose' yourself, its very adictive.

Hi Joanne. I'm sorry to hear about your son. I'm new to the forum too and still trying to work my way round. What kind of crafts do you do? Have you tried scrapbooking yet? It's a great way to lose yourself and totally addictive.

Hi Joanne, I can't begin to imagine what you've been through/are going through. I'm so sorry.

Crafting is certainly relaxing and therapeutic - and once those creative juices start flowing then hopefully there will be no stopping them! This forum is a great place to hang out for support as well as ideas and advice.

Thank you all for your warm welcome, i'm sure i'll enjoy being a member of the forum. At the moment i'm generally concentrating on making cards (get a lot of my stuff from QVC) but in the middle of turning our box room into a craft room, so I may be a bit slow with the pics!
