  • Hello .... from South Yorkshire

    Hi
I joined about half an hour ago I'm a life long arty crafty person ....but seem to have lost my inspiration has anyone seen it ??
I've done dried flower arranging, made jewellery, draw, paint, dressmaking (my own wedding dress / christening gowns) .....feeling very bored and hope I get my inspiration back reading posts on here.
I'm from Rotherham South Yorkshire and there seems to be very little in the way of courses / classes round here.
    Look forward to chatting

    Hi Chenoa,

Your inspiration is likely in the same place as my energy! Welcome to the forum from a fellow South Yorkshire lass. I think you'll find plenty to inspire here. Enjoy

Hi welcome from me too! I am sure you will get inspired from something on here to get your craft juices flowing again.
Courses I agree in south yorkshire are very thin on the ground. I do know the craft shop at markham grange does card making courses but dont know any details I pop in there every now again for odd feathers and ribbons.

Maybe soaps or candles next for you then!
Should find plenty of inspiration on here. I'm struggling on the energy bit at the moment!

Yes Doncaster - Possibly the bemuda triangle. (Im from Rotherham Originally) Try google searching Marham Grange nusery or steam museum

Its Brodsworth it can be reached By A1 taking the exit for woodlands and I believe its sign posted from there or though Mexborough follow the signs for Sprotborough then you get to a steep hill (high Melton) and bear left and then take the next right. follow the road to end then turn right, take 2nd left (to Brodsworth) take road to end and straight on at the cross roads and then 1st right after the motorway bridge....Phew Multimap out of the window now!

Welcome from Barnsley/Doncaster South Yorkshire =- Just to confuse on the markham grange scenario I suggest you leave the A1 for Barnsley (J37 I think), follow signs towards Barnsely then turn off
We are doing a Free Taster Drop in at Gallery12a in Doncaster on Wednesday 7 April

I run regular beading workshops in Sheffield for beginners, and also sometimes to teach a particular design. Details are on my website.
