  • Hi from sunny Yorkshire

    Hi Everyone,

I've spent the last couple of hours looking through new and old postings, and it's given me a new incentive to tread forward and find craft fairs to sell my products. Everyone seems very friendly and I'm looking forward to becoming part of the forum.

Introductions .... My name is Caroline, I live in a village called Crowle, which is on the Yorkshire / North Lincolnshire borders. I own a mobile paint your own pottery painting business. It was through this that I became involved in slipcasting to make my own bisqueware which I now also sell at fetes and fairs. I feel very fortunate that I am able to have a job that I absolutely adore.

Looking forward to chatting with everyone in the near future.

    Caroline :-)

Hello and welcome to the forum - I am last as usual.

Glad you love what you are doing. I was once told that if you love what you work at you will never need to get up for a days work in your life!! Too true in your case.

                        Cheers.

                          Thankyou!

WOW ... what can I say ... thank you so much for the wonderful welcome. I must say that it does make a big change. I've been on forums before where if you haven't been on there for over 3 years no-one talks to you ... great to see this one is different.

I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone :-)

Hi Caroline Once again, I'm sorry for being late to say hello! (have done a few welcomes now and have been late to all of them)

Really looking forward to seeing some of your lovely pieces, and am also jealous that you get to do a job you adore full time!! I still have to visit a yucky office now and then!

                              Hi Caroline

I am new to the forum today as well, & I do not live far from you. I am near Thorne & yes it is lovely & sunny here today.
I have been crafting most my life & have been making more & more cards for the last 4 years. Things have become a lot easier to buy now & there are some lovely things to buy to use for your cards.

Welcome to the forum, I'm off the start a new thread now to introduce myself to the forum.
