  • Hello From Sunny Devon

    Hello to you all.

I like to do all sorts of things with fabric. I have been sewing since I was a child, but I am still learning ( you are never too old!!).

I do clothing alterations and make clothes, bags, costumes, basically anything that comes along or idea that pops into my head.

    Thanks

    Annette

Hi Annette from me too. I'm not very good with fabrics (except for sticking bits on cards). Everyone here is really friendly and i'm sure you'll enjoy it on the forum.

Thank you all for your welcomes.

Yes I do make and sell, but it has been very local so far. I am taking on a small unit in a nearby town to enable me to spend my time more constructively, as I am easily distracted at home!! Plus my husband is fed up with sharing our home with mountains of fabrics, three sewing machines, an overlocker, two bodyforms, threads, and there is so, so much more .

I also want to try a craft fair at some point.

                    Anyway less of my waffle.

Thanks, she has e-mailed me details of August craft fairs in Exeter, which I am thinking about doing.

It's funny but I've dawdled about over the last few years, but since we moved, everything seems to be coming together and I am getting really excited.

What do they say Kismet or fate, or life is just what you make it. OR maybe I turned 40 and it gave me a kick up the bum!!

                              Hi!

Good morning and Welcome.....I'm late again!

I turned 40 last summer. Everyone said life begins at 40, and I thought it was rubbish....up until January when all the craft fairs took off! I've not looked back since!

                              I'm also a fabricoholic.......
