I've just found your wonderful forum, there is much to read

Right about me, I moved to SW France about 15 months ago with my Great Danes and horses.

I used to enjoy glass painting but it is hard to find suppliers of the paints here and being out in the countryside I find there is too much dust and my work was ending up covered while it dried.

I started making wired jewellery last year, I especially like crystal beads and did make a website with the hope of selling pieces which did work for a while but I think the novelty wore off with friends, also I have to wait for my OH to go back to the UK to post them.

I am thinking of starting up again but am also looking for inspiration for new crafts.

Why did I move to France ???

Well I came into an inheritance so came over a few times found a house and bought it, I've also bought all the land round me for the horses, also it means nobody can come along and build next door. I am quiet rural and only have one neighbour across the road and down the valley a bit. The people are so friendly and helpful, my French is not that good but with hand signals I get by and have a great laugh.

The life is slower here and the eather is wonderful in the summer.
