Hi Everyone... I've just found ya ! I'm really new to this, I set up my own website in January and its going ok. I absolutely love Tole Painting, which I have so far taught myself via this great thing called 'the net' and making anything which has a bit of country about it...signs, wreaths etc. It will be great to get talking to so many talented people and hopefully share tips and ideas along the way.

Being nosey what is Tole Painting probably something I shoudl know already!!

No...I did'nt know about it until a year ago !! Its painting a pattern, so you don't have to be able to draw. The painting is mostly done in one stroke..it really is so easy. It is really big in america and canada...hopefully it will become big here...who knows..if I get really good at it, I like to be able to teach it and design my own pattern packets, well you gotta have hope !!

I've never done tole painting, but I do have three huge books of iron on transfers that are for tole painting. I use them for embroidery, or just sourcing designs for appliques. My sister borrows them to use as templates for her glass painting!

Love the look of tole painting, but I'm useless at arty things.
