Hi everyone,

I stumbled upon this forum today and thought I would sign up. My name is Sarah and I am 24. I live with my partner in Epsom, Surrey. I am interested in a wide range of crafts; card making to tapestry and all inbetween. My other passion is a game called The Sims.

At the moment I am attempting to make my very first patchwork quilt on my new Singer sewing machine.

I've not played the Sims, but I did get hung up on Animal Crossing for the longest time - the phase seems to have passed now though!

My kids play the Sims....but I don't have the co-ordination for pc games. I was hooked on Majongg for a while...

My oldest boy is a 3rd year Chemistry Masters student, he was telling me last week that he actually paid to join a 'Sims' chemistry lecture online and it was very informative and great to watch! I have to admit to it sounding a tad nerdish to me, but........

Anyway, enjoy the forum, I think it's the best!

Ah - Animal Crossing - on the Game Cube! You can even do crafts by taking your avatar to the jumper design shop - great for inspiring cross stitich designers!

Welcome to the forum. I've never played Sims but I used to play Roller Coaster Tycoon a lot!! It helped that I used to work in a theme park!!
