  • Argentium silver has anyone used it?

    Hi,
    I am thinking of buying some of this silver has anyone out there used it ? I know its about 20% more expensive but is supposed to reduce fire scale

    I like Argentium a lot, great to see we can buy it here now, instead of the horrible Brilliante.

    It does have different working properties to sterling, which is not necessarily a bad thing, but you need to be aware of this to start with.

        There are some great technical info sheets on the Cookson's knowledgebase - well worth reading through them, especially on things like annealing and pickle type and strength. The brittle when at annealing temp thing is definitely true (don't ask me how I know )
