    hello, HELP
can anyone tell what fat quarter means in aida fabrics..i need fabric and see this against description but don't know what it means...

Afat quarter is a square piece of fabric, usually a quarter of a metre. A thin quarter is a long piece off the width of the fabric. These are pieces of fabric used by quilt makers mostly I think. and they would be the same measurements in any make of fabric.

Don't feel daft, the reason for this forum is to help each other (among other things!!) so we all have questions like that all the time - there's always someone who knows the answer.

Anyway, welcome to the forum, and feel free to ask as many questions as you like!
