  • Introducing the mods

    Following some recent confusion I thought I'd introduce you to "the mods"

    0103 Media : aka MR M. : Owner The owner of the forum and the one to thank for this wonderful place. Brought up in a crafting home (sounds like a kids home) Mr M has a great appreciation for hand made items and craft skills. Also owns Craftjuice (a show and tell craft site) and ukcraftwebsites.
    Secret Passion is snowboarding.

    Natty Netty: Moderator: In previous lives a careers adviser and owner of a bricks n mortar shop selling card making supplies and running workshops. Now mum to a very active toddler and running the card making supplies business online from home.
    Secret passion(s): The Smiths, Sarah & Duck and Ipswich Town Football Club.


    Seahorse: Moderator: Prolific chatter, record post holder, Creates beautiful jewellery. best known for glass slide jewellery. Enjoys fashion and sewing.
    Secret Passion: she's not just a seahorse, she's a dark horse!


    Beadsbydesign: Moderator: Mum of three. Qualified interior designer and creator of Jewellery, tiaras and sock toys and many other craft items. Addicted to blog writing. Dabbled in many crafts over the years and looking forward to dipping my toe into new ones as you all inspire me!
    Secret Passion: Singing
    Woodtattoos: Moderator:aka Si: Designer and creator of beautiful pyrography (wood burning patterns). Has dabbled with woodturning, silversmithing and working in pewter amongst other things. Has written two books on the art of pyrography called "Woodburning with Style" and "Learn to Burn". Si studied 3-D Design at University. Avid rock/indie music fan, can often be found at the front of a gig.
    Secret Passion: The armadillo.

    Indri: Moderator: mum of 1 and lab technician by trade. A keen quiller who is also an accreditted member of the Quilling Guild. Dabbles in many other crafts, including sewing, knitting and now crochet, though tries not to due to lack of space for storing those craft essentials!
    Secret Passion: lemurs, travel and Nanny Plum.

    Critchley: Moderator: Mum of 3 Grandmother of 6 plus a large step family. Love sewing, knitting, painting and crafting in general. Make quilts and bespoke cushions at the moment but usually do what the fancy takes me to. Love folk music and light opera.
    Secret Passion: Writing Ditties (Could never be described as Poetry).

    StefC: Moderator: Mum of 3 rats and 3 chickens. Loves to prevaricate about crafting, yearns to be able to sew creatively. College lecturer in the day job.
    Secret Passion: loud music and baking.

    Thank you for that, although I already knew who the mods were, I didn't know their interests etc.

            Keep tuning in . This lot change their minds as often (or more in some cases) then they change their socks!!!

                    Just goes to show how wrong I can be I always thought the Armadillo was Peters "pet-at-home" but it turns out it was Si's. Surprise a minute here.
