  • ♥ Hiya ♥

    Hiya,

I'm fairly new to this forum and this is actually my first post

I started making jewellery in February and since then I've developed an obession for all things handmade - all the lovely things on this site aren't helping me to resist temptation!!!

I've got my first craft fair planned and I've approached a local shop to see if they would display my work. I launched my website yesterday and would love your comments and advice - I've never done anything like this before.

I'm based in North Birmingham and would love to hear about any events happening nearby - both to sell and shop!!!

Hi Stef and welcome to the forum. You have been a very busy girl if you only started in February. You have some lovely work on the website and I was interested to see that the website is a Vista print one - I had seen them advertising, but not seen a site yet, looks good. Welcome

        Thank you

I've got so much more stuff waiting to go on but I work full-time and have a exams coming up so time really is an issue. But I love making jewellery, so whenever i have any spare time that's what I'm doing.

The website was so easy to set-up, my only issue is making sure the photos were the same size.

Your jewellery is lovely and beautifully finished. I love those silver caps on your beads. I can't believe what you've achieved in only a couple of months! Well done, and very easy website to look at, which I like, hehe

Hello and from me too! Not too far away from you so will maybe see you at an event in the future! As has already been said, you've had a busy few months and have achieved an awful lot in that time - well done you! Great website, very easy to navigate. Lovely jewellery too.

One suggestion is to add an events page to your website so that you can advertise any fothercoming events / fairs that you will be attending. That way if people see your website and live locally they can see your work in person.

If you're looking for events can I suggest Mosley Arts Market? It's held monthly and is well attended. The guy that organises it (Jamie) is great. If you google it you should find the website, but let me know if you can't and I'll dig out the address.

All the best for your new venture!
