  • Hello all

Hi, I have been crafting for about 5 years and love all types, mainly cardmaking, scrapbooking and jewelery making. My 3 kids also craft. I love watching create and craft from ideal world, Martyn is my favourite presenter. I sometimes sell my cards on my ex husbands website and at fairs etc around the county of pembrokeshire. It costs a fortune being a crafter and you have to make money back inh some way or other. Would love to chat with any other crafters.

And another welcome from me too!

It's great to meet another family of crafters. My Mother taught us three 'girls' to craft (many years ago!) and now I am teaching my daughter to craft as well. Whilst I am into stamping, scrapbooking, PMC and cross stitch, she loves to make beaded jewellery and mobile phone charms which she gives away to her friends as presents for birthdays and other special occassions.

I am pretty impressed with what she can do - she is just eleven, and wish there were classes that she could go to that would show her the techniques that she needs to learn to do it properly. She has found her own way with most of it, but it is difficult to find people who are prepared to include children in their classes despite my assurances that she is very capable (more so than most adults) and very responsible!

Any way, I have been rabbiting on again ...

                              Take care,

                              Karen
