I have just recently started making soap. I really need to be able to sell it. How do i get certified and who can can I get to the safety assessment. I am at a loss here. I stay in Scotland. Is there anyone out there that might be able to help

Whether you make Cold/Hot Process or Melt & Pour your best bet is to go via Sarah Janes who operates an advice agency and progression to assessment from a very good assessor.
You'll have a base recipe with lots of variations for additives, including fragrances.
These services are are not cheap - but some assessors are very rigid re recipe plus charge for each variation.
You'll need to move quickly as the regulations in the pipeline mean that assessments will be much more expensive in the future.

I agree with ElaineJ, getting assessments done is not cheap, you have to sell a lot of soap to cover the costs and insurance etc
Do your homework, know your market - 95% of the Western world use soap in one way or another.
