  • Hello

    Just a quick intro!

I have just been "Hooked" on to the world of Crafts in the last couple of weeks & can see that I am not going to get out that easily

It all started with the sad death of my mother to cancer at the beginning of January & I happened to wander into a local hobbycraft shop looking for something to create some sort of personal memorial to her..............

    A scrapbook album/stamps/pretty paper/card/various tools/embellishments/storage items & £150 later I was hooked!

I live in Wickford a small town in Essex with my partner, my son, four dogs, five cats, chickens, parrots & some tropical fish!

                          Hi Helen,

I am a newcomer to the craft forum too - only joined this week. Sorry to hear about your mum, mine died of cancer about 4 years ago - she loved her crafts too.

I find hobbycraft to be soooo expensive, every time I go near one I end up spending about £80 - its a great shop though!

I have no idea where wickford is - I live in Crowborough, East Sussex with my husband, daughter, 2 cats and some woodworm!
